Progression update 7.7.300 now available.

Progression 7.7.300 represents the most current Progression release. As such, it includes quality fixes. While Progression 7.7.300 has been designed to work with the Microsoft® Windows Vista® and Microsoft® Windows V7® operating systems, They are not a requirement for using this release. Progression 7.7.300 is fully compatible with Windows XP Professional workstations, as well as Microsoft Vista and Windows 7. Progression Series version 7.7 General Release
Exact Software™ is pleased to announce the General Release of Macola Progression® Series version 7.7, the successor to Progression Series 7.6.x. In order to take advantage of product improvements and enhancements, all customers should incorporate version 7.7 into their near-term update plans. Progression version 7.7 addresses Microsoft's operating system security and stability requirements introduced with Windows Vista1. Additionally, our latest version includes several customer requested product enhancements:

Exact Software Annnounces the Acquistion of Interactive Technology’s InterConnect Solution

MIDDLETON, MA - September 18, 2008 - Exact Software today announced that the company has acquired key technology that allows organizations to have a single interface for critical operations in their business, unifying Exact Synergy with their existing Exact ERP systems.

The InterConnect solution, developed and marketed by Interactive Technology of Portland, Oregon brings real-time views of ERP information directly to the user. Specific functionality includes sales quoting and funnel visibility, as well as live access to Order Entry pivot analysis, inventory traces, manufacturing views, and purchasing reports. The InterConnect solution is fully integrated into Exact Synergy, offering the same familiar look and feel, helping to speed user adoption and utilization.

The InterConnect solution provides users with another layer of functionality to integrate key customer facing business processes with Exact Software's ERP transaction processing and planning capabilities.

Business Activity Monitoring Solution Delivers Robust Alert Functionality, Wizard-Driven Designer, and Real-Time Global Reporting on Microsoft SQL Platform

 

MIDDLETON, MA - September 10th, 2008 - Exact Software™, a leading provider of solutions that connect the people, processes and knowledge essential to an organization, today announced the release of an upgraded version of its Exact Event Manager® solution, giving customers greater ability to monitor business activities and react to exceptions in a timely manner.

Exact Event Manager Version 7.5 has been redesigned with a graphic user interface and a robust Microsoft SQL Server database platform, providing increased scalability, speed and flexibility. Event Manager is certified to work with Windows Vista®, and supports both Microsoft SQL® Server 2000 and 2005.

Utilizing the latest in Microsoft technology, Event Manager 7.5 can help businesses proactively monitor enterprise data for changes and alert staff, partners and customers early on, allowing them to address critical issues before it is too late to respond. In addition to detecting changes, Event Manager 7.5 monitors the business for non-changes such as frequent buyers who haven't made recent purchases or partners who haven't been engaged within the past 60 days.

Unlike simple alerting solutions that send out email reminders, Event Manager 7.5 includes a new graphic Event Design Module and Navigator, multi-step "Job Streams," and an Advanced Calculation Wizard, providing the ability to quickly define new event triggers, responses and alert recipients without the need for programming or SQL expertise.
